Say 8, have one of those heading back my way tomorrow. Along with a Rouses BT pick. How is it?

I'm curious too. I saw both of those in August, picked up the Eagle Rare but haven't cracked it yet. My first Rouse's pick so I don't really know what to expect.

1PD: Highland Park 15. Workin' my way through the Scotch cabinet before getting back into the Bourbon.

its a very nice pick TS, i'd give it a solid D cup

but yeah for me it has a light fruitiness and butterscotch taste just like a "better" version of ER IMO

I need a good blended whiskey suggestion. Friend is buying a client who specifically drinks blended whiskey.

That tends to backfire when doing it with 130 proof whiskey

Not looking for a scotch, at least I don't think. He essentially asked me for a really high grade version of crown.

You guys might like this. I visited my brother in Norway this summer, this was the entire Bourbon section of his local liquor store. Jim and Jack are about $50 a pop, Four Roses Single Barrel is about $70! Bulleit is 'only' $35 so that's his go-to when he can't get to duty-free in time.

Headed to Louisville Thursday. Have never been. I know I'm not going to find the high end stuff, but anything Alabama doesn't get would be nice to find. Other than the Liquorbarn, where else should I check out?

I am not sure which exit it is but in Bowling Green Ky right off of I-65 there is a place called Chuck's Liquor they usually have excellent barrel picks. I think it is the first Bowling Green exit. Headed North you can see their sign on your left from the Interstate. Pick me up a bottle of Willet Rye. Thanks

After looking it may be exit 22.

While you are in Louisville you should head down to 4th St Live downtown. Good place to get some eats and drinks.

Pretty much every whiskey is blended that doesn't say single malt

Crown is a Canadian Whiskey. Generally cheap and sweet

Koval is a bourbon that has other whiskeys in it .... it's my new favorite daily sipper bourbon
