Not at all. If I'm drinking scotch, its going to be smoky. The Laphroaig 10 cask strength isn't my favorite though. I'm hoping I like it better after some air time. I've got a bottle called Cask Islay. No clue who makes it or how old it is, but I much prefer it to my Laphroaig. I also have Lagavulin 16, and I absolutely love that bottle.
