What's the overall opinion of this exotic bottle? Gets better with age? I was not impressed with first pour.

For the price, I find this to be a pretty good juice. It's Willet's, what could go wrong?!? ;)

Say 8....where you have that rye ranked within the Smooth Ambler regime? I haven't found a bottle yet, but am a big fan of SAOS.

its at the top no doubt, and at that price pt it cant be beat fantastic pour but good luck finding it
the well is dry unfortunately and no sure when they will produce more
if you find it "clear da shelfs" !

I thought the dry-up happened right around his death, perhaps coincidentally. I bought a bottle the day he died for $30, and hadn't found it as easy as that since.

Right but last year I guess I decided to buy at the time of the incoming shipment. I can't find anything about the next batch and it pains me as ELT hits my palate better than anything else, regardless of how much something costs.

There isn't a huge Mark up online for ETL. You could probably get it shipped for 50 or so. I just gave away a couple or I would c + s one to you
