Unless it’s flush with corporate cash, that place will be closed in two years.

Shake Shack is far better than mediocre, but it's not "camp out front for the grand opening" good, either.

Pretty sure it, and all the shake shacks, are flush with corporate cash.

I was just thinking about that. For the sake of the people sitting out front, I really hope so.

Diners can order the “Metairie Mixer” which is vanilla custard, fudge sauce, Haydel's Bakery praline and chocolate toffee, the “Shack Attack” featuring chocolate custard, fudge sauce, Haydel's Bakery chocolate brownie, Mast Brothers dark chocolate chunks and chocolate sprinkles.

the haydel concretes should be interesting

Still don't get the hype. I thought everything non-burger there sucked. Are they just known for only having good burgers?

That's a retarded take. Shack Shack is delicious and will do just fine there.

And I'd argue that my statement about SS is equally applicable to CFA.

People are insane.

Shake Shack is good

But Metry people that go there need a nut kick and titty twister

You actually have a local startup that serve damn near the exact burger right down the street

As I posted on another thread, I like Atomic and go there from time to time. Like that all burgers are sold in slider size. But Atomic needs to tighten up....last 2 visits, prob 2 months apart, Atomic was out of key ingredients: one trip, it was the bacon onion jam, another trip it was roasted poblanos. Look, if you run out of key ingredients, not only is it annoying to the customer, it makes them wonder about your overall ability to run the damn place. I’m now questioning everything from your sanitation to your ability to rotate perishable stock.

Anyway, I’ll go to Shake Shack for the chicken sandwich.

1. Bacon onion jam and roasted poblanos is not exactly something I would call "key ingredients". Anyway, how was the bacon onion jam at shake shack?

2. They actually grow and supply all their ingredients. I like that and fully understand why sometimes items like bacon onion jam and poblanos might not be available

Hyperbole much? They’re not raising pigs to cure the bacon to make the bacon jam. Nor are they making their own buns, nor grinding their own grain, nor farming their own potatoes. This is silly. As for the two ingredients I cited, both are key components of signature burgers listed on the menu, not merely add on condiments.

Plus, the place needs a good scrub, esp on the exterior.
