Gotta be a home style white gravy with sausage, right?
Spooned generously over a homemade biscuit or a chicken fried steak.
What are your favorites?

My Louisiana grandma's pot roast gravy. Thin and dark. No longer available.
My Texas grandma's white gravy. Thick, rich, creamy and peppery. Also no longer available.

Pot fry some turkey necks down with some onions and make a gravy with it and tell me a white gravy over biscuits is better than a turkey neck gravy over hot rice.

This answer to this question is a life long endeavor for me.
Squirrel is certainly up there.
But Rabbit might be just a bit better.
Pork chop is hard to bet, but grandma's pot roast... Oh hell my day is wasted now. I Need Rice
