Do they also have food there? I've seriously only been there just completely hammered.

Out of LSUBase's list I would suggest Walk-ons, Mannings, or Tracey's based on the fact they have nice TVs for the game and more likely to have other fans. Places like Ave Pub are not gonna have people watching the game.

If it was me and I was in town visiting I would catch the game at 45 Tchoup and then walk over to Tips after. Pretty sure the free shows on Friday start this weekend.

I might have to change Cooter Brown's to Traceys. I'm thinking Walk-Ons or Mannings might be too touristy? I don't really know. haha. thanks.

Cooters is good too but it gets a lil packed in there sometimes. Fat Harry's is also a good option they might possible even have the sound on.

Not sure what you mean by touristy for Walk on's. It will be full of LSU fans.

I like Cooters too.

I've heard not so great things about Gordon Biersch. I should go there because I can just walk home but I'm thinking more along the lines of Traceys or Cooter Browns.

i watched several sporting events at the District last time i was in town. food was definitely mediocre but, otherwise, i found it a solid place to watch sports--plenty of TVs and local beer options. my recollection is fuzzy on whether it seemed expensive, as others have suggested.

I somehow ended up there after the NC game this year and I don't know if that horrible memory of that entire night will ever allow me to go back in that place. I know that's dramatic but it was fricking brutal.

That is where I watched the game- couldn't make it to the end.

District is hot garbage. Bottled beers are expensive as shite ($3.50 or something for a Bud Light I think - $6 for an Abita Amber). Plus the bartenders are usually poor and the crowd can be rather douchey at times. Food = mediocre.
