If a fella were to find himself in Monroe, LA on a Monday evening were would the FDB recommend dining? I wanted to do Parish but is appears they are closed on Monday nights.

Mondays are tough...most restaurants are closed.

Cotton is open, I think. Doe's is open, also, per its website. These are two pretty good options.

You are aware that today is Tuesday, right? I was mistaken a couple of times today.

My favorites:

Waterfront closed on mondays
Doe’s open on Monday. Good steaks but not special to Monroe or Louisiana
Wharehouse is open on mondays. Has the best views in town.

I’d say wharehouse.

The Warehouse is consistently good. I’m not a huge fan of Cotton, but it’s not bad. Not sure if Ronin is open in their new location, but that’s another option. If you’re open to something more casual then you have lots more options.

As long as it's not Sunday, hit the Chick-fil-a at 203 Thomas Road for some breakfast and get some chicken mini's.

Dont eat too much there, and for lunch go around the corner, and get a spicy chicken sandwich at the Chick-fil-a at 911 Glenwood drive.

Is Genusa’s still open? That was my “closer” when I was in college. 60% of the time, it worked every time.
