On my way to New Orleans, what are some good seafood places to eat in and in between Lake Charles and Lafayette? I'm headed from Houston on I-10. I know of Pat's of Henderson in Lake Charles and Pat's Fisherman's Wharf in Henderson, which is better and which is better for the price? What else is good in and near the area? Thanks.

On 1-10 between LC and Lafayette there's Fezzo's...

They are both right off I-10...one in Crowley and one outside Lafayette in Scott...

Chef Roy's in Rayne. Exit 87. Turn right off of the interstate, and it is on your left.

There's a place in Jennings that has great food ,I hear. Maybe someone can get you the name and a link...it's an odd name...like initials...and I just can't remember it.

Frey's. It's pretty good. But, I would drive a little further east to Fezzos in Scott, right off of I-10.

I'll go with Chef Roy's too, just exit Rayne and head north less than a mile. D.I.'s is at least 20 minutes off I-10.
