People started talking about it a year ago saying it was supposed to be completed by now...I haven't seen the first inch of concrete busted at the proposed site.

The Chinese Inn at 2341 S Range Ave. that has been closed about six years will make way for a new 5,000-square-foot Chick-fil-A operating right across the street from competitor Raising Canes. Durbin expects a September or October opening.

Apparently some kind of issues with that property have surfaced. Wish they would get going with it, because its an eye sore

there was an issue with the way that Chick Fil A wanted to make the turn into the parking lot vs how the government wanted it done. I think Chick Fil A just decided to take their business else where.

Well, we know Denham has those strict zoning rules and such. Chick Fil A can build all over the south, but don't they dare screw with the Denham city planning folks.

I'm sure DS can find some tax incentives to sweeten the pot and stick it to some more local business. They seem to really excel at that, or at the least don't see what's wrong with it. Come on DS... Garbage wages, chain food, and temporary box city..... This is right up your alley... The only thing better might be a shiny new strip mall to go along with it.
