I always go to Copelands Cheesecake Bistro because the value is really good. Food isn't so bad, either although it certainly isn't the best in town by any means.

The Lafayette location just closed. This was the 2nd Copelands franchise that failed over here.

Doe's always has a great deal... haven't seen if they are doing it again this year.

Chelsea's used to be a great deal as well...

The Celebrity Grill looks like such a joke of a menu. For $20 you get to choose 2 appetizers and then a brownie for dessert. That's not even a meal. Why not raise the price and offer actual meals or just not participate at all?

I went to Texas De Brazil last night and ate my weight in meat. Yeah, it was a good meal. I'm still full.

What is the Texas de Brazil deal? I might try to crash the party right as they open and dine at the bar?

We went to Canefield Tavern tonight. Crab and Brie soup/salad was good, but boudin stuffed chicken thighs were top notch. 2 nice size thighs with a lot of boudin, choice of two of their sides and biscuit or cornbread.

We've experienced slow service here before, but staff/kitchen was quick and attentive tonight.
