There's been some talk that covid has pretty much ended that dream but no one knows a thing.

In the last thread someone came on and said it was very much still a go, but I seriously doubt we see anything in 2020

There were street rumors some time back that after the hurricane (2005), and the fire, and a move to another building that the reopening was back on track, but I dunno. I think the delay has a lot to due with finding enough qualified people like the old workers in the original building who actually knew what they were doing and could work the equipment - still hoping

Those pies aren't good enough for the amount of threads started about them...

After being out of production for all these years, I simply don't give a frick if they come back or not.

However, I do know quite a few folks that are chomping at the bit to get their hands on a few Hubig's Pies.

But honestly, there's a lot better products out there to satisfy my need for a sweet treat.

Pretty sure there were press releases earlier this year and such.

They might be overrated, but that doesn't mean that they aren't damn delicious.

It has nothing to do with COVID or finding workers. They are trying to obtain used equipment and getting quotes for new equipment now. Some equipment is getting set up in a warehouse off Jeff Highway near Clearview. Three months at a minimum.
