On a related note, anyone ever had the deep fried boudin from the gas stations in Natchitoches or Many?

About to pass through Many this weekend. Which one is this?

Depends on where it came from.

I will not eat Jerry Lee’s casing. That shite is like rubber.

Eat it all pussies. Should be original Intestines casing instead of synthetic.

I suck the stuffing out, spit it into the garbage, and then eat the casing.

Been eating boudin all my life. I’m a squeezer, but I got nothing against people who eat the casing.

I just never developed the habit, when I was a kid I thought the casings were gross.

If it’s smoked and crispy def eat it. Regular and stretchy gets thrown away as the filling is being chewed and swallowed

Casing should keep its texture so that it has a little crunch or pop.feeling when you bite into it.

Food researchers and developers know that flavor and resistance are two separate messages that are electrically transmitted to the brain and are part of the brain’s identification of one’s degree of positivity for the food.
