I rotate between a #2 (smoke sauce) or #4 (smoke sauce or chili and cheese) with onions and a large chocolate shake.

You sound like a big ol baw. Back in my fatty days I got a crucial tip from a fellow fatty to tell them not to melt the cheese on the cheese fries. The heat from the fries semi melts it and it’s divine. The smoky sauce is money with the fries.

I love the smoky sauce. Anyone here know what’s in it?

Paul. do you even know how to google ? Found several links typing your question

1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups ketchup (I used Heinz, but read that Bud’s uses Hunt’s)
1/4 cup liquid smoke
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup Lea & Perrin’s
1 tablespoon chili powder
Kosher salt and coarse black pepper to taste

Make the sauce by combining the tomato sauce, ketchup, liquid smoke, vinegar, chili powder and 1/4 cup Lea & Perrins in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until sauce has thickened, 15-20 minutes. Season to taste with salt; keep warm.

You can tweak the recipe by adding 1 Tsp of brown sugar if you want it a little sweeter. Adjust according to your taste
