I usually put a dab of honey in at the end of making my old fashioned.
I'll occasionally use maple syrup instead of simple. Works pretty well...

I made this instead due to lack of infredients on hand.
2 parts Crown vanilla
1 part club soda
1 splash simple syrup
1 twist of orange
Not sure what it is, but it’s good.

Kind of depends on time of year, time of day and how I feel at the time. I like many different cocktails and one of my favorites being Bloody Mary's on a Sunday for brunch. I make my own cocktail mix out of V-8 and a slew of other ingredients and finish off the cocktail with my homemade pickled green beans and okra spears.
Yesterday evening I went out to toss darts with some friends and had a couple rum, 7-up/soda mix with a twist of lime.
On the rare occasion I'm found in the French Quarter with out of town folk, I'll do the tourist thing and get a Hurricane from Pat O's or a Hand Grenade right across the street. Both can be lethal in large enough doses.
I also like a good Margarita, especially in the summer months.

Pima cup is nice, but add Z little gin or vodka and turn it into a porch swing
