What's your favorite place to get gumbo, and why is it Pot & Paddle?

Pot & Paddle in BR has the best gumbo, and jambalaya around. Prove me wrong

The Jambalaya Spot in Port Allen is the best.

They're not bad, but The Chimes is better and so is Dempsey's.

The Cast Iron Kitchen for gumbo and fried jambalaya balls. I do like Pot&Paddle jambalaya tho.....

My favorite is The Chimes - my only complaint is that sometimes it's too thick. Dempsey's is passable. Definitely will give P&P a try, as well as Cast Iron Kitchen.

Had a cup of duck and sausage at Chimes a few weeks ago and it was really good.

Off the Hook in Houma/Thibodaux has a really good Seafood Gumbo.
