LL has a good corn and crab bisque. As does Prejean's in Lafayette.

Actually there's a restaurant in MS called Vrazel's...they have the best crab and mushroom soup

it was 18 here this morning. my fav has to be ramon noodles. but i like to eat stew or chilli when it's cold outside.

Fun fact for the day: the baked potato soup from Chili's is what I brought Blondie that night.

to make or to pick up at a restaurant.

fav soup my mom makes = sunday after holiday. turkey soup. she puts the whole turkey bones and all in.

favorite that i make = potatoe

favorite that i buy somewhere else = tomato basil with some form of grilled cheese

i've got several favs

Chicken Toscana from Macaroni Grill and Chicken Pasta from J Alexander's are the 2 best, followed by Potato soup from La Madeleine's and Chicken Pot Pie soup from Jason's Deli.

i have another to add i really liek the turtle soup from commanders too but i havent had that in years.

Tomato basil soup from La Madeline's is great, especially as a snack break on a shopping day.

But the number uno soup ever in the history of soups has go to be corn and crab bisque. If you disagree, then I feel sorry for you.

corn and crab bisque not my fav, but i could use the pity...i had a crawfish bisque soup (no rice) at a friends house once and it was incredible.

I love all soups..it's the first thing I look for on a menu.

I make a mean crabmeat soup. But my favorite is La Madeline's tomatoe basil or french onion.
