HAHA!!

I think they were next to the frozen meatballs in BBQ sauce. In the 3rd crockpot from the left.

I do hear the new IKEA meatballs are tasty...

When I ask what to bring to the party the answer is always the same "Bring your shrimp cocktail."

I find a 2 pound bag of frozen EZ Peel extra large shrimp on sale for 10 bucks. Boil, peel, put in fridge. Then I mix up a bowl of cocktail sauce: catsup, horseradish, worcestershire.

I take it over in tupper ware, ask the hostess for a serving dish and lay it out. It's always gone within a half hour.

Oh, I'm pretty sure I was using the grape jelly in the 80s.

.

Do people really use grape jelly on meatballs? I assumed the first response was a joke.

New to the board. I was told to stay clear of Rag. Should I add R2R to that list?

I like goose/duck/deer ka-bobs as appetizers.

Why 'maybe one day'?

Yep. An old recipe that people seem to love. Grape jelly & barbecue sauce or grape jelly and chili sauce. If not with meatballs, with lil smokies.

In the link R2R gave you, there's also I link I put in to the mini ham sandwiches pictured in that thread. They go FAST. I was surprised at how good they are.

Here's another recent thread that has a few things in it.

LINK

I may have missed it, but are you looking for something you have to take elsewhere, make ahead, any certain type of food like meat, seafood or doesn't matter?

R2R is not nearly as lethal.

Gris

Not looking for anything in perticular, just easy. I enjoy small meals & love 'wedding' food & Tapas. Just looking for something other than my go to Little Smokies.

And those sandwiches look really good. Might try!

For the Super Bowl I made some buffalo turkey meatballs and stuffed them with feta. They were pretty tasty.
