instead, offer soft serve icecream and shakes?

Having the shake machine constantly be broken would be fitting.

You gotta go to the neighborhood where Popeyes is revered. Hwy 14 in Lake Chuck is a good example and I’ll risk it any day.

The employees will work to the standards management places before them. Popeyes has very low standards.

The Popeye's where i grew up in Algiers had a woman there for years who was the manager. Lady ran that place like a 4 star general. She kept all the youngins working there in line. She was like their momma and didn't take no shite. Very few if any mistakes that I can recall. Staff was always pleasant and hard working.

I think they eventually made her an area manager too

The only time I went into that place, probably ab 15 years ago, it was awful. Has it got any better?

When I see these threads I am genuinely surprised that anyone goes to Popeyes. It and Burger King are the most miserable fast food experience available. Why would I pay $ to subject myself to a fast food experience that is abhorrent in every way possible? The food doesn’t justify the garbage.

It’s not bad for some small town bbq. I’ve only been twice but the brisket and sides were good plus they have one of those old school soft serve ice cream machines

Was the burger barn next door? The sign is still up. I’ve been to the Olla burger barn and it was great

Then they'd want $20.

In Popeyes case.. gonna disagree, assuming you get fresh food, which I find that I generally do at Popeyes.

I get nasty indigestion for hours from fried food, but once in a while I deal with their awful customer experience and that indigestion just because that chicken is worth it.

Burger King, well.. yeah. I enjoy a Whopper, but not that much. Never go there.

at the end of the day, the employees don't care if they get fired, that's the problem
