What's the general consensus on TJ Ribs' Acadian location?

Went today and while it was a hectic time to expect flawlessness, it was pretty bad from a service standpoint.
1.5 hours to be told the steak orders "were lost". Never got drinks, had to go ask for an appetizer, didn't get all of what I ordered, and had to have them take some items off the bill.
Just a bad experience. Have others seen or gone through this as well?

Never had bad service, but I wouldn't go on Mothers Day either.

I got a bad vibe from it when I saw some of the sign's lights had been burned out so it read "bs Restaurant"

damn, I would have left well before that. I've had bad service over there recently as well, but I like the food.

It's more of a destination eatery than quality restaurant, IMO. I lived in Southdowns for a few years and are there from time to time.
Folks raced about the chicken wings on here. I had them a few weeks ago and was disappointed. They were good, but not the best ever, as advertised here sometimes.
I can't comment on the service of late.

Their kitchen is well known by reputation of being one of the more nasty operations in the city. Alas, there is no scoring system for restaurant inspections here in BR. That would be too American, and not Third-world enough.

Lost me years ago when discontinued best thing there ; slow cooked prime rib served with platter full of great au jus. Guess decided in too much of a hurry turning tables to cook something good that takes a while to prepare.
