5 Guys is in the front. None of the Rouses employees know what's going to be in the new building behind it. One of the construction workers said he thinks one of the spots will be a gym. Looks like there'll be 3 or 4 new spots.

Anyone know?

Sadly, this is probably correct.

Always wonder how the same shite goes up in every new strip and somehow they stay in business.

Forgot nails place too.

Still trying to figure out what's going in the hoo shoo too joint... they put that marinas sign up before the flood. It doesn't look like they've done anything since.

People need to stop and ask themselves why there are so many mattress stores within one town, and question if they should really be purchasing from a store.

Little 'ol Denham Springs has like 4 of them that I can think of off the top of my head

Read an interesting article the other day about the homogenization of America. The writer goes into detail about regardless of where you are in America, there's bound to be the same stuff at strip malls across the country.

I think much of it is due to building codes that are mostly uniform across the country.
It yields certain structural formats that fit the bill and are more profitable and cheap to build. Same goes for regulations on different business models. Some are just very easy, like mattress stores, family dollar, nail salons, etc.
