I just finished a bowl of crawfish bisque that was left over from Friday nights meal that I made this past spring and froze. Only have 5 more quart bags left.

Had a bunch of people over last night. Upon clean up duty in my shop this morning I discovered about 14 unshucked oysters left from a sack we had last night. They were sitting all pretty in an ice chest staring at me. So I ate them. Twas a glorious breakfast

Love oysters on the half shell, no matter what time of day or night. I just hate how they've bastardized our sacks of oysters over the years. Gone are the days of 100 lb. full sacks with 20-22 dozen oysters in them. Replaced by half sacks with little more than 8 dozen oysters now, and cost more than the old full sacks ever did.

Almost forgot, bowl of cheesy grits, covered with two fresh eggs over easy, breakfast sausage, toast with butter and homemade pepper jelly. Mardi Gras cup of Stoli and OJ.

Still puzzled about that.
When I opened the Food and Drink Board there is was in a purple border.
Considering some of the other threads started I was really surprised.
Alway wanted to start another but don’t want to get banded.
