Just going to spread ~2inch layer of goat cheese into a small baking dish (they sell it for a very good price at Trader Joes), top with some homemade pepper jelly, put into a 400 degree preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes. Will serve with some toast points.

Looks like a bunch of great Thanksgiving eating going to be happening next Thursday!!!!!

If folks go home hungry, it's on them and it's all their fault. I've got around 25 family and friends coming by for the big meal.

Never thought of that. My cousin makes home made pepper jelly all the time. I will try this. I have an unhealthy love for goat cheese (and have bought it at Trader Joe's lol).

O.K. so our menu is set......

Root Beer Glazed ham
Slow roasted turkey
Mashed potatoes
Gravy(of course)
Cranberry sauces
Petit peas
Candied yams
Green bean casserole
Cornbread dressing
Shrimp mirliton dressing
Dirty rice(gotta have rice in some fashion)
Homemade bread
Desserts.... Pecan pie, pumpkin pie and more, bread pudding and more.

Who knows? We actually said we weren't cooking as much as usual. There will probably be more added to the list. Lol.......
