Dads new wife brought green bean casserole in a pan covered with foil. We didn't eat for awhile so it got put into the oven to warm.

Grosses thing I've ever eaten. I could see other people cringing but didn't want to say anything.

Turns out she had plastic wrap underneath the foil and melted it into the casserole.

This is one I didn't tell anyone about... I was making turkey tetrazzini with left over great bird i did. Dish called for a blond roux and then adding parmazan cheese to that and then already sautéed onions and mushrooms, I let this sit for a little while while i put the turkey meat on top of the thin spaghetti. I noticed what I thought were lots of flour lumps in the sauce with the mushrooms, ruined?? Threw it out and started over ,l later realized it was only Parmesan reg I processed kind of corse??? Cost me and hour . No more martinis
While cooking, said this before.

Bought a chuck roll with the intention of smoking then finishing in oven to get to pulled.

Dropped in on the patio getting it out of the smoker.

Put it in the oven that I DID NOT turn on.

Found out about that after a full night.

Cranked up the heat and served it as roast beef. Soooo disappointing.

Smoked the Turkey but the meat thermometer was faulty. I ended up over cooking the bird. But thank God I brined it and it was still a little juicy. I think I over boiled the mirliton it was a little mushy and like baby food. But it tasted pretty good.
