Last year I did Thai chilis and I really enjoyed those. I’ll probably do those again, maybe a habanero too.

What do you do with the super hots? Last year I grew jalapeno, cayenne, tabasco, serrano, habanero, and ghost. I used the jalapeno, cayenne, and tabasco but I couldn't find any practical way to get rid of the hotter peppers. I did make hot sauce but got tired of bottling it. Could you make a seasoning paste that freezes or stores well?

This year I plan on growing jalapenos and serrano.

“Heatless habanero?” What kind of abomination is that?

Really, what would be the point? Invented by the same people what invented rice cakes AKA popcorn packaging as far as taste.

Lots of people love the flavor of habaneros but can not take the heat. I like the heat personally but would also like the flavor of habanero in sauces when I do not want a ton of heat.

Aji Cachucha Peppers and shishito.

I have 450 years worth of cayanne peppers in the freezer from last year.

No quite the opposite. Very mild but good flavor, from what I’ve read. I haven’t had them yet, they were slow starters from late last summer.

They are and prolific. The taste reminds me of the multicolored jalapeno looking sweet peppers you find bagged in the grocery aisle, fruity and sweet.

Did them last year, along with Macaroni and various Bell Pepper. *eta: will do them again this year.

I make tons of hot sauce and also started dehydrating a bunch to use later. I plan on grinding a bunch and make extra hot seasoning blends but have not got around to it.
