Joe T Garcia's medium salsa

Almost bought some mrs renfro yesterday but couldn't find out that was just a semi normal flavor. They were all very "different" flavors.
I do prefer my own home made salsa but it's nice to have a go to jar to buy when rushed. I haven't found one yet.

Concordia foods sells dry packet that you add to a pound of cut up tomatoes and 1/4 cup of cut up red onion. Its more of a pico but still DELICIOUS!

There's a little restaurant called La Casa that has some great salsa, they serve it as an appetizer but will sell u a Container to take home.

If you like hot they have the jalapeno green, a habanero and the ghost pepper. I like spice and all of them are quite hot to me. Those are the normal flavors except for medium which is not a medium to me although I do like the flavor of it.
I tend to mix some medium with a portion of one of the hots to get the heat that I want without killing myself.

I go with mild Mateo's for liquid and then add Serranno peppers from my garden...much hotter than Japs. Gonna have some tonight with stir fry.

Always fresh. I haven't found a salsa that comes close in the store. It's been sold at farmers market for years, but Alexander's has been carrying it. I think it's about $8. Well worth it.

quote:agree with the queso. Never tried the salsa
ETA: Hell on the Red is solid too. The hot queso dip is the best cheese dip you can get.
My favorite is albert's. Haven't seen it here in Texas though
