I have been to pasttimes and george's and george's is much better. I was wondering if there is anyplace better that has good po-boys around LSU. Pasttime po-boys are good, but are too small for the price.

If you want a tasty, cheap, gigantic one, go to the savemore gas station on Nicholson near Aster st.

It is kind of ghetto looking, but walk in, take a left to the hot food counter, and order a half loaf shrimp po boy. $6.99 and it is freaking ginormous.

I haven't seen Catman around... not even jumping into the "poboy" threads

Nowhere near LSU, but I had a shrimp po-boy at Tommy's Fish House on Old Perkins Rd. (or is called E. Perkins?), the road that runs past Santa Maria. Follow that road like you're going to go towards Airline Hwy...almost all the way down to the Prairieville Wal-Mart, but not quite that far. Thought the po-boy was awesome, and I'm usually very particular about my shrimp po-boys. Not as hard as Catman obviously, but I can be hard to please.

That thread was greatness. Better NO/BR debate than Tulane/LSU baseball on the Rant.
