I've use the citrus boil booster, definitely gives it a citrus taste
Yeah it definitely does a little something, but I wouldnt replace what I normally do for them. I keep the basic method and then I sometimes add stuff to that, but I always do the same base "recipe".

I started using the boosters instead of the big thing of garlic powder and onion powder. I like them.
Same. The Smashed Garlic is my favorite but the Herb one is pretty good too. And it's what, 2 or 3 bucks vs 10 bucks for a large garlic powder (if you're worried about that kind of thing).

Boil in clear water, dump in ice chest, pour powdered seasoning on top, let sit

The Louisiana liquid seasoning is cheaper to buy, but I had to use a lot more of it so it cost more to use. I have never used the Cajun land liquid.
The zatarains liquid has more clove in it and IMO makes all the difference.

We stopped doing onions last year, not for a time saver just because we would throw them away as soon as they came out. Didn’t really notice a difference in flavor.

Use em in a red bean soup or rice, you will go back to adding them.

Yeah I really dont know as I have always used them. Just part of the routine I guess. I am sure you could make some fine crawfish simply by using the powder but I enjoy all the other things that go into a boil.

Or you can do the BR area method. Soak them until they are mush or the consistency of a thick rubber band.

think Mexican people actually pour orange juice in their boil. People say it's good but I've never tried it.
I’ve seen a bunch of TikTok videos where they just pour a whole gallon of orange juice in. I have been wanting to try that too.
Anyone here ever experience that?
