Long story .. It's been told on here before ..
Was this story told by you or by someone else? Either way, I would like to read about how Louis' dad screwed up the franchise agreements.

Used to love their pizza when I was little. All I know now is that I'm happy something is finally opening in the old Deangelo's on Burbank

Yep. I know the brother of the guy opening it. They own one in Hammond. I'm looking at their menu online now.

Can't find the menu online but the pics remind me of a Brewbachers.

Does anyone know what's replacing the DeAngelo's on Jefferson Hwy?

I hate the name. But to each his own.

Me too. It's a bit sophomoric for my taste.

Yes, they had their heyday and were solid for years. Their foundation began eroding and now they seem to be barely hanging on.

You are right. The food was good in the 90's to early 2000's. Now it is turrible.

I thought back in late 90's or so they would be the next Macaroni Grill or large national Italian chain. Especially, when they opened up outside of Baton Rouge and Louisiana. Looks like they didn't reach rock star status, but nonetheless, they did well for years.
