West Main is the most expensive pizza I’ve ever had. IDK how they stay in business. Their pizzas should be half of what they charge.

DiCarlos in the Ohio Valley puts on the toppings and cheese AFTER it comes out of the oven. They basically bake a big tray with just the crust and sauce. Then, when it comes out, they throw the cheese and toppings of your choice on. The cheese melts in the box. You can also buy extra bags of cheese to sprinkle on. Sounds crazy, but it's awesome, I assure you.
Why? What is the reasoning behind this? Is it just a gimmick? Does it unlock flavors somehow? Is it to save time?
I like my pepperonis a little crispy on the edges! Come on, DiCarlos! Just put the toppings on before baking it like EVERY OTHER PIZZA PLACE IN HUMAN HISTORY!!

1)Pizza bianca with porchetta, or stuffed with bresaola, arugula, and parmesan, from Roscioli bakery in Rome.
2)A real neapolitan pizza, the kind that is folded into quarters, sold from the takeout window of the old pizzerias on the via Tribunali in Naples.
3)My own homemade pies, topped with tomato passata, capers, black olives, and calabrese salami, and a tiny bit of parmesan (no other cheese)
Honestly, I probably have a top 25 list.....very hard to narrow things down to just 3.

Not sure of 3, but my favorite of all time was the anchovy at Totonno's when we went to NY several years ago
can't find an anchovy pic but the pizza was incredible

Just from an aesthetic standpoint, those three choices of yours don't look to be, or posses the potential to be, anything special.

Again, that’s your OPINION.
Never said these were the best; they’re just my favorites. I don’t understand the confusion that some people seem to be having.

1. Tony’s Pick at Reginelli’s
2. Chef Boyardee homemade with extra sauce and artichoke hearts
3. Pepperoni with extra sauce from Ben’s Pizza in da Parish
Honorable Mention: thin crust pepperoni from J Bella’s Pizzeria in Paducah, KY

But again, that's your opinion. I'm sure there are others who think McDonalds is great. Their success doesn't lie.
Stop being so defensive.
I admitted that it was my opinion and that everyone is welcome to their opinion.
I admitted that McDonalds success is a good example of this.
For frick's sake. I try to explain to you another viewpoint, and you have to being your response with "but again..." like you are lecturing me about this stupid shite.

I keep repeating myself because you seem to be confused about fact/opinion. You use McDonalds as an example, saying that it's popular but they don't make good burgers... which is your opinion, not a fact. There are apparently plenty of others out there who think their burgers are great.

My son loves McDonalds burgers. You can’t say that a person’s opinion is wrong, just because it differs from your own. I love the pizzas in my OP. Never said they’re the best, just my favorites. They’re obviously not for everyone, but they’re MY favorites.

Yeah, obese and poor folks.
McDonald's is objectively disgusting

I love the little regular hamburgers at McDonalds I don't think they're ~best burger ever~, but damn if I don't crave those little things once per month.
EDIT - Not obese.
My favorite pizzas are definitely Americanized ones. Authentic wood fired pizza has its place, but when I am really craving pizza.. foldable thin NY style is my jam.
Vinnie's in Brooklyn is my favorite.
Also wouldn't sleep on the square/Grandma slice. This is Prince Street.

I hope your son has better reading comprehension than you do. I very specifically stated that everyone has their opinion, which is fine. I stated my opinion about your disgusting pizza but acknowledged that I'm sure others find it appealing. My point that you have still yet to grasp is that success does not equal quality. Success equals pandering to the obese, pathetic public that continue to eat at these shithole "restaurants"

No one is fricking arguing with you about that. We stated our opinion and you keep taking it personally and feeling the need to defend it.
