Got some barbacoa started this morning. Should be ready by 7 or 8.





The sauce is beef stock, lime juice, garlic, chipotles with adobo, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and cloves

Made fried rice for lunch. I'm doing our Valentine's meal tonight. Prime Ribeyes sous vide with boiled whole lobster.

Medium grain brown. Yes, there’ Tomatoes in there. Recipe loosely based on one found in an Emeril cookbook.

Looks tasty regardless.

Does medium or brown rice pop though? That’s the only thing I see different.

It takes more liquid and longer simmer to absorb. Shrimp, green onion and parsley added later.

A little butt on the BBQ. Been cooking at 250 since noonish

Noticed juice leaking out of probe site so I stood it up on its side so hole is at the top.
