I like the old school everyday red ones. Grilled lightly charred, mustard, fresh soft hot dog bun.

Probably not brand that was ever in Louisiana but in south Georgia we used to have Robbins Top Dogs. It was a beautifully red dyed collaboration of rankest body parts from at least 3 varieties of different animals.

Wagyu hot dogs is as try hard as it gets.

Nowadays I eat Hebrew National or Nathan's... back as a kid, we used to buy them fresh from the local grocery called "Cash Market" where they were still tied together. Nothing comes close.
