Brined a chicken for a day. Then cooked in creme fraiche and mustard sauce.

Browned it in ghee, sautéed a bit of onion, celery, carrot, some wondra flour, chicken stock, whole grain mustard and homemade creme fraiche. Put a lid and tossed in the oven for an hour. Good shite

Sipping an 18 year old Macallan on the front porch watching the rain. Its even better than the chicken.

Sweet potato fries are homemade and the blackened chicken tenders are from frozen from Costco. I didn’t mean to have a monochrome plate.

Looks good Darla. You’ve got some chopped parsley or thyme which adds a bit of color. I’m just coming around to enjoying sweet potato fries.

Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas and the last of the slaw. Had a glass of milk. :)

Skirt steak with garlic butter, thick cut fries, and a little salad for good measure.

This is also excellent for rabbit as well. Classical French preparation.
