Pork Adobo. I admit I cheated and used a packet. Sue me. It still came out delicious.

I haven’t eaten the Yuen in a while. May need to hit it up next week for lunch.

Roasted sweet potatoes and chickpeas over a kale salad blend. Made my own mustard dressing.

Was supposed to also have roasted Brussels sprouts but I am still in my PJs from last night so I didn’t make it to the store

I would say it is 9/10 on flavor and it is super easy. Not quite the same as honest to God adobo but it is very good.

The inside needs updating, but I think the food is good as ever.

Pretty much an old man but Trey Yuen, in Hammond, was the first Chinese food I ever had, when they were still in the A Frame on Thomas. Broke my heart when they closed in Hammond. Folks say they’re not the best but to me they are. :)
