My inner fat kid wanted snacks for dinner, so I made some spinach & artichoke dip and pigs in a blanket (with lil smokies, of course).

Easy and satisfying. Sometimes you just have to be a garbage person, you know?

Vodka waters.

... too easy but so good. Used cheap vodka, had everything on hand but scallops, pancetta and San Marazino tomatoes. Made 1/2 recipe for wife and I with enuff left for her lunch tomorrow..

Got recipe from Garden and Gun website

I made jambalaya for the first time on my own (usually follow my brother's instructions at his house). I was stupid and got pork loin, so some of the pork chunks ended up a little tougher than I'd have liked. I'm sure, like my gumbo, I will improve it with time.
