Two reasons I don’t make delicious looking biscuits like those.

1. I don’t know how.
2. I’d want to eat them.

I have lust in my heart.

I visited my mom this weekend and she gave me some chicken hamburger-type patties from a local store in my hometown that she's been raving about. The store's butcher makes them and they come all preformed and preseasoned. It still makes my mom happy to know that she feeds me, so I don't argue anymore when she insists I take food home with me. I just do it because she likes it. I was skeptical as hell because I know they're just the week old chicken the store had to do something with before it rotted, but I grilled them up and damned if those things aren't friggin' delicious with a nice char on them.

I went with some sandwiches made out of that with lots of mayo and tomato and I had a whole bunch of boiled eggs (don't ask) that I had to get rid of, so I made a really eggy potato salad to go with those awesome chicken sandwiches.

Ive been looking for a flaky layered biscuit as opposed to the dense cat head biscuit and stumbled upon this one I guess a couple years ago. If you want to add cheese you freeze it like the butter and grate. They flake just like the Pillsbury without the waxy layer on the roof of your mouth.

I had bacon and bacon fat basted eggs with them.
