I made a damn fine pot of red beans and sausage this afternoon. I’m going to grill a few thick cut pork chops to compliment the beans.

I'm hitting rock bottom tonight. I don't feel like cooking and don't feel like delivery, so I have a can of albacore and some 2 week old limp celery and green onions that I cut the ends of and put in some water to revive them, some Duke's mayo, and some mildly stale bread I'm gonna lightly toast so it doesn't matter that it's stale.
I do have some fresh lemon ice cream, though, so it's not all sad, just like 98% sad.
