Not my proudest work but I posted anyway. I wanted to try a new recipe so I found the top rated recipe on r/recipes and this is it. No flavor in the steak, even though I marinated longer than stated in the recipe. I hit the doneness right on but I still ended up using the A1 for the meat at the table. I haven’t had to use A1 in foreverrrrrr. It is a morale buster to say the least lol.

I will say that the potatoes were fire. The instructions in the recipe were crap and you would end up with raw potatoes if you cooked per the recipe. That was easy enough to overcome, and they came out tasting great. The herbs and salt and pepper with the butter and the olive oil were really good.

Overall, 5/10. Would not recommend the meat. I will absolutely cook the potatoes again though.

Beef stew from the crock pot. Sometimes it’s nice coming home and only having to cook a pot of rice.

I made some Thai venison lettuce wraps. They were real good. Also made spaghetti and meatballs since my kids wouldn’t eat Thai venison lettuce wraps.
