Where do y’all buy those beef ribs with so much meat on them? I have never seen anything but rib plates that are so thin that there would be nothing but bone if I smoked them.

Costco, prime beef chuck short ribs. They look relatively thin before you cook them.

The last year of chemo kept me from being able to fast. So I started a new fast today, actually 8pm last night. I'm not sure how long I will be able to make it, but my goal is 45 days with only water, hot green tea, and medications. I always make exceptions for the eucharist during my fasts, but otherwise no calories are allowed.

3-2-1 ribs on the grill
Corn grilled in the husk
Leftover coleslaw and a can of Bush’s beans

We had a few bananas that were a little long in the tooth, so my wife baked banana bread for dessert/breakfast tomorrow.

Banana bread with bananas foster topping is my signature dessert. I may or may not have stole the idea from Bobby flay. Either way, the flambé step is awesome every time!!

I’m not really a dessert guy, but I could eat bananas foster every damn day.
