You need me to bring you some Saltines, Fritos, or a sack of rice?
Times have been tough, but, I’ll do it for y’all.

Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, turnip greens and messacun cornbread.

2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb Brussels sprouts, shredded
1 leek, white and light green parts sliced thin
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup Parmesan, grated
12 oz. orecchiette

Boil pasta to just before al dente. While pasta is boiling, sauté garlic in about 2 tbsp of olive oil until fragrant. Add sprouts and sauté for about five minutes, then add the leek and sauté for another couple minutes.

Then, add white wine and cook for a minute.
Take 1/2 cup of pasta water and add to the pan, let reduce in half. Add the pasta to the pan and slowly stir in the grated cheese until the sauce thickens to your likeness.

I’d bring him a Stouffers lasagna but I’d probably get the saddle shot out from under me on the way. Tough group here.

But I’m rubbing off on some. I’ve got Pawl eating Grapenuts and skim milk.
