Got a blackstone for christmas, so for the game I cooked steak, chicken thighs, and some duck breasts for tacos, and a big batch of fried rice. Haven’t really stopped eating since noon.

Geaux Tigers.

Edit: wife and son wanted pancakes for a night cap

New Year’s Day meal is dinner tonight. Black eyed peas and rice, ribs, cornbread, and smothered greens.

I woke up this morning and couldn't feel anything. That precluded me from doing the two things on my agenda today. Going to mass and cooking gumbo. so instead I was relegated to sitting in bed watching mass at the Vatican on EWTN and then the LSU exhibition. Any way this leaves me without dinner tonight. Hopefully I will be able to cook my gumbo tomorrow.

No dinner tonight.

Don’t envy that. I still have 5 more left, thank goodness.

Dinner will probably just be picking at leftover party foods. Sausage balls, most likely.

one of my clients gave me a box of stuffed boneless chickens...I was wary but after a ride on the vision grill (and an exterior wipe down and re season) it came out perfectly cooked and juicy with a good flavor. wife made black eyed peas, cabbage, greens and cornbread

jucifer before and during and a jameson to follow

2018 was a good year for me...my daughter graduated and is on her way to her own life, we traveled across America, business is great and my marriage is stronger than ever. whatever BS I have to deal with pales in comparison to the blessings of health and happiness

Cheers

Thanks t00f. I'll be fine. I always have some neurological goofiness going on. When I get worn out my spinal condition and other neurological conditions act up. (I have syringomyelia, tourette's, adhd, PTSD and epilepsy) in addition to the anaplastic astrocytoma. Luckily Keppra has my epilepsy under control for now. Each round of chemo wipes me out and then there is the cumulative effect as well. Once I finish this chemo regimen in another 5-6 months or so, things will begin to calm down.
