To totally rip a kitchen down to the studs and redo, the average person is looking at 35k for a smallish kitchen.*

I replaced everything but the floor in my kitchen and we did it for $10k. Did everything ourselves though. Well except the concrete countertops. It pays to have a carpenter for a Dad sometimes.
