I haven't had a Grape Nut in 25 years. Back in the day I used to eat the shite out of then when I stayed at my mamaws. Pow pow ate them religiously. I would let them soak in milk for 10 or so minutes then plow into em. I would usually eat an entire box. Which was fine cause they kept about 25 boxes on hand at all times. Csb

I never ate em. Boycotted em cause I thought the old fricker that ate pine cones and did the ads for them was cray.

I bought one of those electric deep fryers. Gonna christen it with a mini fish fry.

The brisket I posted in the FBD. Making an herb board sauce for it after seeing Jax talk about it.

Grilled Mexican street corn.

Roasted brussel sprouts.

Have some jalapeño hushpuppies I could fry up, but I don't think I'm going to. Don't feel like taking out the fryer.

Maybe a cucumber salad.

I'm making a healing helping of taco meat from several pounds of ground venison. This will be used for taco salads at lunch the next few days. Speedo time is close and I'm going to start chiseling my figure back to my fighting shape.

I'm grilling a couple of steaks with roasted asparagus and sautéed mushrooms for dinner this evening.

smoking some boneless pork ribs to get ready for the mid-season Walking Dead premiere.

Smoking them with some cherry wood, then finishing them off in the oven

Well with my George Washington teeth I have to let them soak a bit as well. But they are light and since it's hotter than a hooker on nickel night today I didn't want anything too heavy.

Plus I ate a fried chicken last night. I'm a bit distended.
