Nah. Calandros. We will check out Alexander's when its been open longer. I live as far away as I could possibly be and calandros is very close to my new house.

Aight, after the baking steel thread I took it upon myself to do a little r&d and used one of te dough recipes linked in the thread. Here are te results of the trial run.

45min @ 500+ degrees for the steel. Middle rack then turn in broiler just before putting the pizza on the steel. About 3 minutes in the oven.

Homemade dough

Didnt go to work on the toppings because I am on crust technology development at the moment.

That pizza looks awesome!! You appear to be using the wrong hot sauce though!! Louisiana hot sauce is for pizza!!!

Tonight we grilled chick-ka-bobs and pineapple. The meal itself was so so but the company and the weather were spot on!!

Nah, no hot sauce just pre-made marinara. Think I have the heat/broiler right and the infrared gun showed almost 700° on the steel!!!

Gonna move the steel up one rack and clean the oven real good tomorrow to see if I get any changes.
