Went out to a social function, had appetizers, which were pork belly with fried shrimp and a Steens, brown butter gastrique, spinach dip with fried bow tie pasta, a salad and then pan seared trout with andouille, cheddar grits and green beans for an entree. :)

Trying to learn how to fry chicken on the stove and not burn it. I've never been good at this.



I did learn this trick recently for taking the tendon out of store bought tenders...

How to Easily Remove the Tendon from Chicken Tenders with a FORK

Chicken tenders are usually cheap but I've always avoided them because of the tendons you have to remove. This is a hack I will use forever.
