We had a whole lotta leftover boiled crawfish, so I made crawfish stew for the first time.
I used a bunch of claws to make a stock. I also added hard boiled eggs, which is probably not traditional with crawfish stew, but I like it in shrimp stew, so why not?
I'm really tempted to chop up a bunch of the leftover potatoes as well, partially because I might take this to the office tomorrow and feed some co-workers and I might need to stretch it a little with the potatoes. Would y'all add them?
Maybe the stew needs to be thicker, anyway.

It was, this is the season for soft shell crab (I know this can be controlled) and every bit of it was terrific.

Bone in Sirloin Pork Chops!
The other day I picked up a package of pork chops and almost forgot about them. Earlier today I put them to marinate with some buttermilk. This afternoon I shook of the excess buttermilk and dredged them in flour, and egg and milk wash and then in Italian bread crumbs. They were simply seasoned with salt and pepper be fore doing so. Stuck 'em back in the fridge until I was ready to start frying them.
The weather was so nice this afternoon/evening I decided to cook outdoors.
Used a little canola oil at a time and these were pretty big so I really only cooked one at a time.
The two smaller ones.
I peeled some fresh sweet potatoes and even had a white yam in there for candied yams.
The rest of the meal was butter beans and San Francisco Treat(Rice a Roni).
The chops were so tender and delicious!!!!!!!!!!

Shaped it like a Salvador Dali clock but it tastes good: pepperoni, smoked mozzarella, portabellos, onions.

I grilled thick cut pork chops for the next few days.
I decided to eat a chili dog and leave the chops for lunch the next few days.
Chili dog topped with mayo, onions, cheese, ketchup, and chili
Corn nuggets on the side
Busch Light
