Red beans and rice. Speaking of I had the best rb&r I've ever had awhile back at Felix's Oyster Bar in NOLA. Couldn't believe it. Told the wife they were better than mine. Upping mine tonight.

Lettuce wraps...took some pork belly and braised it in a red chili and garlic paste mixed with fish sauce. Put the meat on bib lettuce with rice noodles,cucumber,cilantro,basil and mint. Had lime, hoisen sauce and the chili sauce as added flavors. This shite rocked.

I revert to rotisserie chicken about once a week. Tonight's that night. With mashed potatoes and baby broccoli.

Just an up-date. Added more cumin, hot sauce and ham hock fat to my rb&r and they win. Best rb&r ever. The smoked sausage from Teet's in Ville Platte helped as well! Cheers!
