Me and the wife are going from Dec 26-Dec 30 to do museums and sight see. We are both big history buffs and it will be our first time visiting. We are staying near the convention center if that helps. We feel like we have activities pretty well planned out but were looking for any cool food/drink places to check out. Thanks!

If you’re history buffs & visiting Mt Vernon, the on site restaurant is pretty good.

If you are looking for a fine dining spot near the convention center, I highly recommend Kinship. The Dabney is also great and not as formal. All Purpose is an excellent casual Italian spot.

Eater has a pretty good map of CC area places. LINK

Went to Denson Liquor Bar Saturday after the Caps game. I really enjoyed it.

If the Caps are in town for a game I would recommend. Awesome experience for my first hockey game.
