Like others have said, it's dangerous to rinse raw meat because the contaminated water can splash. I don't know if it's enough to make somebody ill.

I wash celery before I chop it up for my gumbo. Because there’s dirt on it and I don’t want to eat dirt. It’s really not hard to understand.

Videos? Yea those tend to be biased when dealing with the poultry industry
I've seen it in person multiple times. Various large chicken processing plants. It's hard to cut corners to the point of contaminating the chicken when you have a federal agency behind your shoulder
It's a waste of time
