How much revenue can you make with a Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar franchise? A Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar franchised restaurant makes on average $4,779,000 in revenue (AUV) per year.
That's great, but what can you keep? Because that is what matters.

They need to stop importing their seafood. People see that on the menu and then don't come back.
That doesn’t stop other local places that use imported seafood from being patronized consistently by locals.

They've priced them out of being a casual spot to stop in have a beer and leave. Went the other day because I wanted the cheese sticks. Ordered cheese sticks, boneless wings, and a beer. It's was $50 before tip was included a family is easily spending $100 plus without drinks.

Mozzarella Logs: $13.99 (1100 cals)
Bonless Wings (14 ct): $14.49 (1000 cals)
Bud Light (because...): $5.00 (147 cals)
Total: $33.98
Total with 10% tax: $37.38
Total Calories: 2,247
Total before tax per calorie: $0.015/cal
not only are you a liar, but also a fatass
but in all seriousness that is absurdly expensive but seems like a lot of food, as that is enough calories to feed two people pretty well for a meal

Walk On's is a blah experience - decorated with TV's, bad acoustics, sub-par and over-priced food.
"Some items served at this establishment may contain imported crawfish or shrimp." No thanks
PE takes down another business.

Having just gotten into this industry recently, you'll be surprised to know that the suppliers for all of these restaurants are used by basically every restaurant throughout the state. It's more than likely a location issue than anything.
Overall quality is likely Walk On's hiring cheap chefs, which wouldn't be a surprise as restaurants grow.

Correct. A large majority of Walk Ons food (apps, sauces, gumbo, etc.) is manufactured, packaged and frozen in Belle Rose, LA then delivered via SYSCO.

Who drinks bud?
They have to-go boxes as well, who said I had to sit down and eat it all in one sitting?
13.99- sticks
13.99- wings
12.99- Ghost
$41 before taxes

The investment cost is excessively high compared to the sales required for profitability. Investing $2 million in startup expenses could result in a monthly debt service of $25,000 to the lender. This does not even account for the rent charged by the landlord, which is likely to be the same monthly amount as the debt service. The break-even point is too high, and the franchisees are still required to pay a 10% monthly royalty to the corporate entity. Consequently, it is highly probable that most franchisees located outside of major metropolitan cities will experience significant financial difficulties and eventually close their businesses.

I’m just messing with you, my point was it is a lot of calories for $30 not including beer
Posted on 7/9/26 at 1:51 pm to nicholastiger
It must be a required rule to open a Walk Ons you must have dirty beer lines for your drafts.

More of an issue on the beer distributors side as they do the cleaning

I’ve only been to the one right by LSU and it seemed fine. Do y’all see that closing too?

Doubtful unless something crazy happened. It is relatively busy every time I go, and busier for pretty much any sporting event, including this past Monday an hour before USA World Cup.
They have the advantage of location. Plus, their food seems to be more consistent.

That’s is the only location I go to and the food has been very good the last few years compared to years before that. I see people trashing PE putting money into walk ons, and maybe in most cases they screw businesses up but imo they def improved the quality of walk ons, granted you don’t expect it to be some authentic Louisiana cuisine and see it for what it is, really solid bar food, maybe even slightly better than really solid bar food.

Now that Sammy's burned down where else is there that has good ones?

that's about the only reason anyone is going to Broussard- a ball tournament. Gonna be tough to get anything to last in small towns like this. Too many places to eat a better lunch at on the weekdays. And I doubt the dinner crowd is big enough to sustain a franchise of this type.
