Where can I get a table at in BR tonight to take my gf out to eat? I have made no reservations and it's V-day.

Don't do it.
Think of her favorite thing(s) to eat that you can prepare, put together something at home.

If you have exactly zero cooking skills, go to Whole Foods and buy a few ounces of three different cheeses: one soft, one goat, one firm/aged. Get fresh strawberries, raspberries, walnuts, honey, olives/cornichons, a baguette, and at least one bottle of champagne. Arrange cheeses on a platter w/olives & sliced baguette, pile up the walnuts & drizzle honey over them. Open the champagne.

Dining out on Valentine's Day is a rookie move.

Yea I would do this, but anyone should be able to make a cast iron so hot it makes the smoke alarms go off after the butter hits it and then shoot a steak on there for 90 seconds a side. Finish it in the oven to your doneness preference and call it a day. Get a big piece of meat then cut it up over some greens and you look like a god

Your idea to do a meat/cheese plate is a great one

Yep, your man will love this.

Thanks for the suggestion. A good cheese board is one of my go to moves. I also cook at home all the time. She specifically asked if we could go out to eat tonight so I'm trying to see if there is any place worth a dam I can get in tonight without a reservation.

I went last night to pick up items for Vday dinner. They have special booths set up specifically for VDay items. Lobster tails, steak, chocolate strawberries etc... all for very good prices.

In regards to OP - Even if you have failed to make reservations and would like to eat out do not despair. Go to a couple places and see if you can weasel two seats at the bar for dinner. Oftentimes a lot of people forget about sitting and eating at the bar in a restaurant.

Chimes doesn't take reservations
Olive or Twist ditto I think
Call Umami to see if they have a table

Try open table.

You'll look even lamer trying to get a table at a restaurant ON Valentine's Day.

Like already mentioned, fix her favorite meal and have it at home with candlelight and a bottle of wine.

That last minute "Oh, I've got to get reservations" is just telling her she's not worth the effort to prepare for properly.

McDonalds maybe if you’re lucky. Seriously. Every place is booked at this point

In other words, she's asking in a roundabout way what you planned for Valentine's Day, and your answer was "nothing."

You're screwed.

I took the gf to burger king last year. Minimal wait and the onion rings were excellent

It actually made for more of a memory than some overcrowded restaurant where the waiters are trying to get you in and out

LOL. If she has a sense of humor, he could take her on a multi-fast-food-restaurant progressive dinner. Appetizer at Taco Bell, salad from Wendy's, entree from Popeyes, dessert from McDonalds (because the apple pie is legit). Accompany all this to a playlist of her fave songs/songs from HS days/songs that mean something to you.

Me, I'd go for a cheese platter & staying home. You can drink there.

Louisiana Lagniappe is one of the best restaurants in town and does not take any reservations ever. You better get there early or sit at the bar... which will be packed unlike what these other people are saying.

Prepare to spend some cash.

Shout out to everybody who doubted me. We went to Chimes (had no wait at 6:30), were seated at the same exact table where we had our first date 5 years ago (which she loved), ate the blackened alligator and Nola style bbq shrimp which were delicious, and did the deal when we got home.

Sorry to disappoint fellas!
